Sale-A-Bration 2012

Hi everyone. First of all, I want to wish everyone a happy new year and hope that this year will bring prosperity, wealth, good health, and love to everyone. I am terribly sorry to have been away for so long. A lot of things have kept me tied up so I haven't had a chance to add any updates. I have several news to share with you. First of all, I closed my Etsy shop as of this month. I couldn't keep up with all the maintenance and the sales was not all great so it was not worth it to keep it going. I do want to let you know that I will continue to be a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for as long as I can. Thank you to my customers who have supported my business in the past. I am truly grateful to you.

Next, I want to start off by letting you know that it's that time of the year again. Those who have been with us each year know what I mean but those who don't can mark your calendar. It's time again for Sale-A-Bration, which is the time when Stampin' Up! has their biggest sale. For every $50 that you spend, you will get a free item from the Sale-A-Bration catalog.

This catalog begins January 24, 2012 thru March 31, 2012. In a addition, I am happy to announce that we have the new Occasions Mini Catalog which starts tomorrow January 4, 2011 thru April 30, 2012. You can download both catalogs from the right hand bar or by clicking on the photos in this post.

I can not believe all the cool items that are featured in both catalogs. I am sure you will find one to suite your style and design. I would encourage you to take advantage of this promotion. Only once a year will you be able to get a FREE item with every $50 purchase. Good time to take advantage of the hostess benefits as well. Let me know if you want to place an order.

Also, I want to let you know that several items was carried over from the Holiday Mini Catalog. You can view the entire list here by clicking on this photo:

Again, let me know if you have any questions or want to place an order. Have a nice week. I'll talk to you soon. Take care.

New Holiday Mini Catalog and New Cards

Hi everyone. Can you believe it? Another month has passed by. Time flies by fast when you are having fun. I have been busy stamping again after taking a little break to scrapbook. I have been scrapbooking nonstop for two straight weeks. I finally finished the boy's 8x8 album. I am so proud of myself for such a accomplishment. It took awhile but so worth it. I am really pleased at how it turned out. I stamped, inked, painted, stitched, and did so many things with my layouts. I am also relieved that the project is completed. I will post pictures of it shortly as soon as I can get my photographer to do it for me since I want some good quality pics. I'm hoping to start another album again in the near future, that's if I can make time in my busy schedule to do it. This time, I want to do a 12x12 album that way I can fit more photos onto my layouts.

Now, on to the next item on my agenda. This month Sept 1, 2011 through Jan 3, 2012 Stampin' Up! has a new Holiday Mini Catalog.

Here it is:
Click on the photo to see the PDF of the catalog.

I am really excited about this new catalog because it's filled with so many great holiday ideas and products for Halloween which is coming up soon in Oct, Christmas, and Valentines. Click on the photo to see the PDF of the entire catalog. I'm sure there is something in there that will amaze you. Check it out and let me know if you want to order anything. You can e-mail me, call me, or go online to place an order.

On that note, I have to say, I have been busy stamping as usual. I've been cleaning out my stamp room and decided to pull out all those old stamps and use them. Here are some of the cards I made using my old stamps.

In addition, I have been playing around with owl card designs. Here are a few of the owl cards I made:

I also have been playing around with the Sew Suite Stamp Set which retired in July. I don't own it but I was able to borrow it from my friend Carrie. Thanks Carrie. I had lots of fun with this stamp set. Here are a few samples:

This is not from Stampin' Up! This stamp set is from Hero Arts. I think it's still available.

In addition, I have been busy creating cards form the current Stampin' Up! Catalog. Here are a few of those cards:

Again, I do apologize, I didn't get a chance to write down my supply list. But, if you need to know which stamp set these cards are from or any of my cards, please just let me know and I will be happy to get that information for you. I get so worked up that I forget to do it. By the time I list all my cards, I don't remember which stamp set these are from. I know that these are still available in the new catalog. I hope you enjoy these cards.

Well, that's it for this post. I am going to be busy this weekend. I'm having a yard sale this weekend so I hope I will be able to make some time to stamp. I wish you guys a wonderful holiday weekend. I am so happy to have Monday off. My boys will be back to school on Tuesday so I will be super busy again after that. I hope that I will have time to post more often and share some ideas and inspirations with you. Until then, take care.

Hi everyone.

How is everyone doing today? I can't believe it's August already. I can't believe how fast the time flies. In a few more months, the year will be over and it will be a new year again. First, I would like to apologize for being away for such a long time. I took a long break. I was exhausted from all the different project and assignment request that I couldn't find time to update my blog. I feel so much better now that I have cleared my calendar of assignments. So, I have a few things to post today. This might be a super long post so please bare with me.

First and foremost, I want to start off by informing you that I have opened up my etsy shop again as of today, right now. So, here is a preview of some of the cards on sale in my shop right now. To get a better view, click on the image. I also want to apologize for the cheap quality. I took all the images from my phone and it's not the best quality but it will do for now since I am in a hurry to show these to you guys. Here they are:

Say Good-Bye and Last Chance Products!

Hi everyone. I hope you are all having a nice day. The weather has been crazy here in Sacramento for us. At my work, I sit next to a window so I can monitor how the weather is each day. Today, it was crazy. It rained and it shined, then it rained and it shined again. In the afternoon, it was so cloudy and bluesy. Kind of depressing for me. Then after work, they announce a tornado warning in our area. Oh my gosh, what's going on to the world. Why are we having these crazy weather? Normally on a typical California day in June, it would be blistering hot. But, it's still raining and that's unusual for us. We'll just have to wait and see how things goes tonight.

In the mean time, I just wanted to stop by briefly and share some very exciting news with you. I'm sure you've all heard but in case you haven't, I wanted to share with you that this month (June), Stampin' Up! says good bye to hundreds of their products in the 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog because starting in July, they will have a brand new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. So, come by and check out my website HERE to see the list of the retiring items. Remember that the last chance products may be limited so grab them while supplies last because it is first come first serve. Also, keep in mind that this promotion is only available through June 30. I'm so excited! I order my catalogs today so I should be getting it in the next few days. I'm excited to get started making new projects to share with you guys. Remember to stop by my website to see the retiring list and to place an order.

Also, I will be holding a free stamping workshop at my place next Friday, June 10, 2011 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We will be making a fun Make and Take project together as well as door prizes and everyone will get a sneak peek of some samples made using the new products from the brand new 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog. So, you don't want to miss out. E-mail me if you can make it. Hope to see you all there!

Lastly, I wanted to give you a quick peek at the layouts made by my girls last night at my last class. It was so much fun and the girls were so talented. I was really amazed. I'm sorry for those who missed the class. If my schedule permits it, I'll see if I can hold more classes in the new year. Right now, I'm focusing on my shop and workshops. So, here it is. Click on the image to view it larger.
Aren't these layouts just adorable. I think the girls did such a fabulous job. There's more but this is just a peek of what we created last night. So, this is all for now. I have to retake the photographs of all the layouts I created for this class because for some reason, the images were all blurred. So, I will re-post it at another time. I hope everyone have a nice and safe evening. Take care and I'll see you all next time.

Shop on break...

Hi everyone.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I had a super busy and tiring weekend. I didn't stamp this weekend. My little sister graduated from college with her degree in Health Education so I spent the weekend with my family. On Saturday, we had a picnic at the park to celebrate her accomplishments and then attended her commencement ceremony on Sunday. Boy, we got lucky. The weather forecast showed that it was going to rain on Sunday but it didn't. It was actually really hot. I didn't upload those wonderful photos we took so I will have to share it with at another time.

But, I wanted to stop by quickly and share a little news with you guys that my etsy shop is currently on break. I'm in the process of re-organizing and re-listing my cards. I'm anticipating that my shop will be available again sometime in August 2011. So, please check back here for more updates. Thanks again to those of you who have supported me in the past. And, I really apologize for those of you who are awaiting my uploads. I will inform you once the shop is available again.

So, before I leave you tonight, I just want to share with you a few cards I made today while I rested at home with the boys. I'm off to work again tomorrow so probably no more stamping for a couple more days. I'm still currently working on scrapbooking projects so I've put aside card making for a few days. I just pulled out some old stamps I had purchased before but never used yet along with some of my favorite stamps and paper pads. I will not be listing products used since it's late now but if you want to know the products used, please feel free to e-mail me or comment me here and I will let you know. Here are the three cards I made today.

I hope you enjoy these cards as much as I enjoy creating them! Thanks for stopping by! Talk to you later!
